Getting started

Message your team and post announcements

Talk to one person, a group or your whole department, share photos and files, and post announcements people confirm they've read.

Steps

  1. Select the speech bubble in the top bar. A number on it means new messages or announcements; new messages appear as they arrive.
  2. New message: pick one person for a private conversation. Administrators can pick several and name the group, or choose From the schedule to message everyone working that day, on a shift or in a position.
  3. Add photos or files with the paper clip (or paste a screenshot). Hover a message to reply, react or remove it; search finds words in any conversation you're in.
  4. Announcements: administrators write them with formatting (bold, lists, links), post to everyone, a department or the people on the schedule, can add photos or files, and can ask people to confirm they've read it. People without the mobile app get it by email, and anyone who hasn't confirmed after a day gets a reminder. Who read it shows who was emailed and reminded.
  5. The Worktrim phone app has the same messages and announcements, and a notification opens the conversation. Mute a conversation with the bell.
  6. Administrators: the gear sets who may message whom directly, quiet hours (no phone notifications for messages) and how long messages are kept. A conversation's menu exports it as a CSV, and an administrator can remove any message.
