Worktrim Hiring with open job posts and applicants by stage

How a hire happens

Every step lives in the same system that will schedule, clock and pay the person you hire.

1. Post the job

Summary, the job, responsibilities, requirements and benefits, with pay, hours, shifts and start date.

2. Collect applications

Candidates apply on your careers page with a resume and answers to your screening questions.

3. Interview

Move people through stages, rate them, keep notes, and book interviews that are emailed to the candidate.

4. Offer and onboard

Send an offer they accept online. They join your team and their onboarding starts on its own.

Pay transparency

A post that follows the law before it goes live

A growing list of states require a pay range in job posts, and some ask for more. Worktrim checks each post against the state laws that apply to where the job is, or to every state when it is remote, at your company's size, and holds it back until it passes.

  • A pay range where the law asks for one, such as Colorado, California, Washington, New York and Illinois
  • A description of benefits where required, and Colorado's application deadline
  • New Jersey's limit on how wide a range may be
  • Remote jobs are checked against every state's rule

Worktrim checks posts against the laws it knows; it is not legal advice. Check with your adviser for your situation.

Your careers page

Candidates find you, and apply in minutes

Every company gets a public careers page with its open jobs. Share the link on your website, on social media or on a sign in the window.

  • Job details for Google for Jobs, so posts can appear in Google's job search
  • A job feed you can give to Indeed and other job boards
  • Screening questions, with answers that don't fit the job flagged for you
  • Resumes as PDF or Word, and protection against spam applications
  • You are told about each new applicant

The offer is where onboarding begins

No re-typing the new hire into another system, and no paper packet to chase.

An offer letter written for you

Drafted from the pay, start date and department; change every word before you send it.

Accepted online

The candidate reads it and accepts by typing their name. You are told the moment they do.

An employee, not a re-entry

Accepting creates their Worktrim account in the department you chose and sends their invitation.

Documents signed electronically

Your handbook and policies go out to sign, with a record of who signed which version and when.

Form I-9

The employee completes Section 1, you complete Section 2, and Worktrim tracks the deadlines for both.

State new-hire reports

With Worktrim Payroll, the new-hire report each state asks for is prepared with its due date.

Questions owners ask

Every Worktrim plan, starting with Basic. Job posts, the careers page, applicants, interviews and offers have no charge per post or per applicant. Job boards that charge to promote a post bill you directly.

Each post carries the details Google for Jobs reads, and your careers page has a job feed in the format Indeed and other boards accept. Whether and when a board lists a job is up to that board.

Not today. Worktrim handles the post, the applicants, the offer, the Form I-9 and the onboarding paperwork. Use your usual provider for background checks and E-Verify.
