Scheduling

Compare labor cost with sales

See planned and clocked labor as a share of sales, set a labor target, and bring in sales from Square or a CSV.

Part of Scheduling, on every paid plan.

Steps

  1. Open Labor vs sales and, under Sales, connect Square, import a CSV of daily sales from your point of sale, or type a day's sales in.
  2. Under Targets, set the share of sales you aim to spend on labor, a weekly budget if you have one, and your employer costs.
  3. The Week tab shows each day's sales (or a forecast from the same weekday in past weeks), planned and clocked labor, and labor as a percentage, against the target.
  4. While you build the schedule, the line above the grid shows the planned labor for the days on screen and how it compares.
